WHAT IT IS
The Strutt ev¹ is a smart everyday vehicle: a seated, four-wheel personal mobility platform with automotive-style drive hardware, sensor-based driver assistance, and a frame that dismantles for transport. It is designed for errands, campuses, events, and everyday trips where walking distance is the obstacle. Speed Farm sells and demonstrates it, and our shop team walks buyers through setup before delivery.
Four driven wheels and four-wheel independent suspension keep the ev¹ settled on pavement, gravel, and uneven ground. Traction is delivered wheel by wheel rather than through a single axle, which is what makes the platform feel planted at low speed on rough surfaces.
evSense reads the space around the vehicle with lidar, time-of-flight, ultrasonic, and camera sensors for 360-degree awareness. Co-Pilot adds braking assistance when something gets close, and Co-Pilot+ helps hold a steadier steering line. Both are driver-assistance features with real operating limits: they support your inputs, they do not prevent every collision, and they are not unattended driving.
Seat height is adjustable across six positions, with matching rider-height guidance from roughly 4.9 ft to over 6.2 ft. Backrest angle, seat width, and armrest height all adjust, the armrests and footrest fold up for easier transfers, and the screen and joystick module can move to the other armrest.
A four-inch, 1000-nit touchscreen runs the vehicle settings, with a rear camera for backing up and an adjustable headlight for low light. The companion app and over-the-air updates let the platform improve without a shop visit. Power comes from a 640 Wh lithium iron phosphate battery — roughly two hours to 80% and four hours to full — and Strutt also offers a 288 Wh flight-safe battery for air travel.
The ev¹ separates into five modules, including the battery, so it can travel in a trunk, SUV, or van. The heaviest single module weighs about 43.7 lb, and the whole vehicle — battery excluded — is roughly 140.7 lb.
evSense, Co-Pilot, and Co-Pilot+ are driver-assistance features with operating limitations. They assist braking and steering inputs and require your active participation; they do not prevent every collision and do not drive the vehicle for you.
