Speed Farm returned to the podium at the 2026 AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days as Levi Badie finished second in Pro Stock Bagger after a complete motorcycle rebuild. Read the full Mid-Ohio race recap.
The 2026 AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course delivered another memorable weekend for the Speed Farm race team as we continued our pursuit of championships in the AMA Bagger Championships.
Leading into the weekend, the team faced one of its biggest challenges of the season. Following a major engine failure just weeks earlier, the Speed Farm crew completed a full rebuild of Levi Badie's No. 8 Pro Stock Bagger while also preparing Kurt Wilber's return to competition. Countless hours in the shop alongside trusted performance partners ensured both motorcycles were ready when race day arrived.
Practice was spent working through the final details and dialing in both motorcycles. By Saturday afternoon, the team was confident it had two machines capable of running at the front.
Race Day
When the green flag flew, Levi Badie immediately charged into second place while Kurt Wilber worked his way through the field. Badie quickly established himself as the clear second-place rider, building a comfortable gap over third as Wilber continued his charge.
Midway through the race, Wilber encountered a shifter issue that left him stuck in third gear. Despite the mechanical setback, he battled to the checkered flag and salvaged valuable championship points through determination and consistency.
Meanwhile, Badie delivered a flawless ride aboard the No. 8 Wurz Financial Services-backed Speed Farm Harley-Davidson, earning second place and giving Speed Farm its first podium aboard the newly rebuilt primary Pro Stock Bagger after earlier reaching the podium this season on the team's backup motorcycle.
A Special Moment
One of the most memorable moments of the weekend happened away from the racetrack. Levi's parents traveled all the way from Belgium to watch their son compete. Sharing the podium celebration with them made the accomplishment even more meaningful for everyone involved with Speed Farm.

The team also extends its appreciation to Ken Miller Customs, Dark Horse Crankworks, Feuling Parts, Horsepower Inc., and S&S Cycle. Their performance components, technical support, and dedication helped transform a difficult setback into another podium finish.
Making the grid at this level is never guaranteed. Standing on the podium after overcoming adversity is a reflection of the hard work, preparation, and commitment shared by every crew member, partner, and sponsor involved in the Speed Farm program.
What's Next
Attention now turns to the season finale at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on October 17-18. Speed Farm will continue chasing checkered flags while looking to secure its third consecutive American Twins Unlimited Championship.
